Breath Smells?

Question:
Can deer smell my breath? What can I do about it?

Answer:
We believe that human breath is one of the strongest sources of human odor. Other strong sources include your hair and armpits. To best deal with mouth odor it pays to brush your teeth often with baking soda toothpaste. Also, Scent-Lok offers Breath Shields that can be worn over your mouth while hunting to help remove breath odor. Some experts also say that regular teeth cleanings will help to reduce breath odor. You can also try Robinson's Breath shield gum or try a scent-eliminating mask like the Scentlok face mask.

Never used it Brian, I have also read that eating some raw parsley is a natural breath cleanser as well. Hunt the wind and all this becomes moot.

Breath odor is caused by bacteria. Your mouth has lots of that running around, If you regularly brush your tongue while you brush your teeth, you will illiminate the lion share of mouth odor. Also an empty stomach will turn your breath harsh as kerosene to use a Willie Nelson term. And to all the filthy mouth breathers who have yet to learn how to breath out of your nose, you need to take extra care in oral hygene.

I just brush my teeth with baking soda toothpaste and then try to eat an apple or pear while on the way to the stand or while on it. If you eat it while on the stand you can throw the core down and it becomes an attractant.

It also becomes "Baiting"......an overzealous Game Warden could be a jerk about it so cover it with leaves or smear it on tree bark ;)

Baiting is illegal in Manitoba, manitoba has weird hunting laws ex., the only migritory game birds you can use a call is a snow goose and that call has too be electric, do you guys have any obscene rules
