How about a little back ground?

What type of bow do you own?
How long have you been shooting?
Do you hunt (with archery or rifle)?

Consistant archery shooting requires great mental control. Don't let anything interfere with concentrating on the shot. AND, after you shoot -let that arrow go. You can't change where it hit and dwelling on 'aw shucks' hits will detract from your next shots.

What type of shoot is it? Let us know how it goes. 8-)

How did the archery contest go?
What type of bow did you end up shooting?

Your college archery shoot didn't go so well, I presume. Recurves and not crossbows are used in college archery. Specially crossbows with scopes on them. You're a real "archer" alright. Try going traditional for a change.

Why did up a old thread than tell someone there not a archer because he or she uses a crossbow. We are all archers no matter how you look at it. We're all slinging arrows down range.

Hope it went well 3 years ago and hope you had a ton of fun
