Thanks Dan for once again stepping up and organizing the contest. I look forward to it every year.....although it is more fun when New is able to participate and we get to razz him!

Get well soon New!

You're welcome. Please be patient with me updating the standings. I'm coaching junior high basketball again so I don't get online much.

Congrats to Team 2!

Thanks JoeW.....I'm coming along slowly but surely. I attempted to hunt that one time and drawing the bow back really freaked me out. I was really scared I re-tore the slap tear. So I laid off any and all exercise and just worked on range of motion since. I let it rest and it is not torn, thankfully. If I don't use it for any weight training or draw back any bows, I almost forget I had anything done to it.

I need to start weight training again. My son and I threw some baseballs out in the yard Saturday to work on my range of motion and it's been a little tender since, just use soreness not damage. I really am getting sick of this shoulder, it just seems to not want to heal up. It's not damaged, it just doesn't seem to want to tolerate any heavy use.

But I'll be back this year, killing button bucks. I actually want to kill a doe or button buck but the only animals I see are bucks now (with horns) :D
You probably heard I ain't in the letting deer walk business....I'm in the button buck killing business and cousin, business is a boomin.

Congrats to Team 2. Sadly, I wasn't very productive this year.

If we don't have a drought this summer, and I think there's more deer than this year, I'll try to slay a few more does next year :)

If I had 10 points for every buck I got on camera, that I DIDN'T SEE while hunting, that would be another 70-100 points for my team

Way to go Team 2. This was a slow year for most of us. Hopefully this year will be better.

Can't wait for another contest. Thanks Madrat for handling everything.

Thanks for running it again this year Dan! It was a struggle everywhere this year I think. The deer harvest continues to dwindle in my county. This year numbers are just out and harvest was down 15% from last year, and last year was way down due to EHD. I looked back to 2009 and the 2013 harvest is down almost 44% for antlerless since 09. Antlered were not quite as bad, but still down over 20% over the 4 years. Hope the trend doesn't continue. We have greatly slacked off our doe harvest the last few seasons, and will hope for the best in 2014.
