Talked to Nick Mundt and Mark Womack..........

I'm here at the Outdoor store here in a town of 5,000

Nobody realized how tall he was, they didn't realize how tall Bill Jordan and those guys were

Mark Womack said Michael only shoots a 28".....he had one arm shorter than the other from a motorcross accident

in town to sign autographs and what not....promotional type deal

I was behind the archery counter when he walked by, shook my hand, then headed off to his "area"

I asked Nick how they found time for this during hunting season.....he said they had a two day break so they went to our other store in Athens yesterday, then here today

they were headed to Wichita Falls today then after that to New Mexico for some mule deer hunting

he was supposed to leave at noon....he stayed till 1 to finish off those that were in line....non stop signing stuff from just before 9 to almost 1

People had racks, bows, etc.......

That life style has to be tough and murder on a marriage.
Seems like I heard most of the Realtree guys have been divorced except for Bill.
Is that true?

I've not heard of anyone getting a divorce(other chuck adams)...and that's not to say I know all there is to know....

Michael had a boy before marrying Ashley and I'm not sure he was married before her

but yeh, that is ALOT of time away from home.....

Thats awesome. I had a chance to meet him one time but there were to many people. My last name is Waddell too and I wanted to try to comvince him I was a long lost cousin or something.

Seems like a nice guy that hasnt let the success go to his head.

He (Michael Waddell) seems to be a very good guy. He was doing a promotional appearance at a Gander Mt. and the local NWTF chapter had a booth next to his autograph booth. He was very nice to everyone, and stayed almost an hour after the store closed to sign something for everyone who got in line. They guys working our booth when in ended went to dinner with Michael and they said it was just like dinner with "the guys". They saw him at the next NWTF convention and he remembered and greeted them when he saw them. His drawing power in amazing, and kids especially love to meet him.

yeh, there were tons of young uns.....I talked to one guy who said he was here to take pictures for his little brother

I saw one kid being wheeled away from them in a wheel chair(looked like he was confined to it), and he had the biggest smile you could ever imagine on his face

Waddell is one of my favorites. He's one of the few I'd really like to meet. (I'd like to meet Tiffany too, but that's for other reasons

) Waddell seems very down to earth and just seems like a good guy.

I'd love to hunt with him and Blake Shelton for a weekend!!!! I don't think I'd quit laughing the entire weekend! They are just Hilarious . I like the Janakowski's (Lee and Tiifany :lol:

), but I like Blake and Michael better. Blake should quit singing and start a show with Michael!!! I'm sure he makes a LOT more money singing though!!
